After the painful session at the dressing room. I quickly auctioned my beverages, fruits and other edibles.

My siblings were surprised on how generous I suddenly became but I have been generous, haven't I?

If only they knew or had an inkling of the pain I was passing through. I finally disclosed my ordeal to them and they razzed me, I guess they thought I was making it up. ๐Ÿคท

We laughed about the scenario but it wasn't really funny at all.

I resorted to more drugs because the wound had been exposed to infection due to my carelessness๐Ÿ˜ญ.

I became more careful and literally turned into an advocate.

Valentine's day finally arrived. The month of love.โค๏ธโค๏ธ

Oh the joy I felt! In as much as he had hurt me during this trying moment, I was looking forward to celebrating the lovers day with my true lovers.

I got lots of invites, I didn't know which to honor. The said date was finally here. I was all dressed in a blue long gown with my glossy natural hair shining forth as the morning dews.

I looked really beautiful as I cat walked out of the house.

Mum reminded me to be careful, and return on time because of my condition.

I nodded in affirmation and left the house. The surgery was just just two weeks.

We stopped by at the resort with beautiful ornament all round.

The view was glorious.

We headed next to the waterfall to enjoy the beauty of nature and its serenity.

I met with friends from both primary and secondary school and we had a little reunion.

It was a delightful sight to behold.

I had the amazing evening of my life at the waterfall.

The day was already running out and I needed to start heading home but I really do not want to. It's Valentine's day na.๐Ÿ˜Š

Go home and do what?

We finally stopped by to enjoy on a plate of catfish with a bottle of water to go with it. I was careful not to take any juice, doctor's prescription.

I munched on the catfish and devoured it with all joy. It's past ten minutes eight in the evening already. Oh wow! * Time ran so fast.

Mum kept calling on the phone, and I finally went home.

I got home elated and fulfilled.

I had two balls of oranges, few spoons of rice and beans before retiring to bed.

I awoke the next day hale and hearty.

It was a Monday morning and everyone was already out for the days activities.

I was all alone at home. I was still in my recovery phase, as such, I should not expose myself to the dangers of doing anything strenuous.

At exactly 8:15a.m, I felt a sharp pain on my lower abdomen. My eyes rolled suddenly like a missed ball tossed over the bar.

I didn't know what happened as the next thing that followed suit was vomiting. I couldn't move a muscle neither could I pick up my phone.

Everything was happening so fast, all at the same time.

Someone was knocking at the door but here I was, lying on the floor almost unconscious. I couldn't utter a word.

I felt something intertwining inside of me. Hot tears rolled down my cheeks. Lord please send me a helper. I couldn't beckon on the visitor to come in. I couldn't move ,I tried to but I couldn't.๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ My belly was poofing.

I was almost slipping away. I was almost gone.

Someone walked through the door, then into the room. I could only see the reflection as my retina was already blurry.

I heard faint voices and my eyes were rolling.

I had literally vomited all that was in my tummy.

Then, I felt a grip and she let out a loud cry. "What is wrong with you?"

I couldn't utter a word as hot tears ran down my eyes. I could feel it burn against my cheek. I was in pains.

Hospiiiiiiiii was all I could say. I didn't know if she understood me at all but I pray she did.

She tried to lift me up but couldn't, I could barely stand. Lord please help me๐Ÿ™

She dashed out of the room and in a jiffy arrived with a tricycle.

She held onto me with the driver and helped me into the tricycle and we rushed to the hospital at once.

The patients awaiting to see the doctor were much and I pleaded with them to allow me in because I was gradually sliding away.

Few minutes later, an accident victim was rushed in. His case was so terrifying and I offered my place to him. I pray he survives it.

I kept praying to God to help us. There were lots of emergency cases that day. I couldn't help but wonder.๐Ÿค”

The doctor saw me in that state and the countenance on his face was not encouraging.

After close examination and series of tests.

I was admitted and placed on bed rest.

Mum had already been informed, and had to rushed to the hospital.

My body was sour and everything that entered my mouth was tasteless.

The doctor confirmed it to be food poisoning.

"Food poisoning?" I muttered, how is that even possible doctor? " I asked.

He said I must have eaten a contaminated food, my mind immediately reminisced to the catfish peppersoup I had the previous night.

He adviced that I trade with caution and be extra careful.

Is this how I could have died?

What if she didn't walk in at that point in time?

What if I had bolted the door?

What if what if?

I had a lot of what if racing through my mind.

I went under the knife and returned.

Grace brought me back.๐Ÿ™

The picture below was on the 14 February 2016, exactly 2 weeks 4 days after the surgery.

Looking back, I can only say thank you Jesus.
